Regulation of international container transport of HazMat, dangerous goods, ADR
International carriage of dangerous goods is governed by the ADR (European Agreement concerning the international carriage of dangerous goods by road)-the agreement of European countries on the international transport of dangerous substances, which was created on the initiative of the United Nations.
Modern ADR 2013, valid until July 2015 and 2015 ADR which enters into full force with 30.06.15 clarify and complement the requirements for the transport of dangerous goods.

The shipper is obliged to complete each shipment with the emergency card which regulates actions at accident and\or flood and the passport of freight of MSDS .
People who deal with dangerous freights are obliged to carry protective equipment and to pass special training in fire inspection and also to receive the certificate about special preparation on actions at accidents and floods. Persons who can come into contact with dangerous freights, become object of control and have to watch health.
Except DOPOG in practice of transportations use IMDG - the contract on transportation of dangerous freights by sea transport.
On delivery dangerous freights in containers, the container is marked according to the international sea and motor transportation rules.
